MASTER HUNTER

„ALI“ ALLOSAURUS FRAGILIS

Ali lived in the same place and at the same time as Diana. They could even meet, but he certainly wouldn't dare see her because of her size. The smaller dinosaurs of the time, on the other hand, had to be wary of him. Ali's graceful and well-preserved skeleton suggests what an agile hunter he was. His skull deserves special attention, thanks to its excellent condition and the distinctive "horns" above the eyes, which are typical of allosaurs. Ali's teeth, for example, are also unusual, with horizontal lines on them whose origin and purpose are not yet known. You can tame the iconic Jurassic carnivore in the Dinosauria Museum Prague.

DINOSAUR GANGSTER DUO

„SAM“ AND „MAX“ MOSASAURIDAE

Max and Sam lived around 80 million years ago in a sea that no longer exists, a sea that separated North America into two continents. Anything that crossed their path generally didn’t live to tell the tale. They were not fussy eaters at all, and devoured everything in reach of their colossal jaws. Even other Mosasaurs. Take a safe peek into the jaws of a Mosasaur at Dinosauria Museum Prague.

THE LEADER OF THE HERD

„TRIK“ TRICERATOPS HORRIDUS

Trik’s remains were discovered amidst the rock of the renowned geological formation of Hell Creek, where it lived its adventurous life 66 million years ago. It is one of the biggest Triceratops ever found, testifying to the fact that it lived to a ripe old age. Traces on its skeleton suggest that in its time it must have survived a great many battles of life or death. Experience the battle between Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus Rex with your own eyes at Dinosauria Museum Prague.

„DIANA“ DIPLODOCUS CARNEGII

Our Diana’s skeleton was found in Wyoming, America, in rock of 154 million years of age. She, however, is unbelievably well-preserved. Some parts even make it look as if she died not so long ago. She fed on ferns, and because an enormous body is accompanied by a huge appetite, she spent most of the day and night chewing on them. See how big you are in comparison with the majestic Diana at Dinosauria Museum Prague.

FAST RUNNER

„ED“ EDMONTOSAURUS ANNECTENS

Ed roamed the landscape of present-day Montana some 66 million years ago. He was surrounded by his very large family, which may have numbered in the thousands. Together, they grazed peacefully on the surrounding plants. But the peace was only apparent, and the whole herd had to be on guard because at the same time and in the same place lived the fearsome Tyrannosaurus rex. Ed's defence against the Tyrannosaurus was to live in the herd and escape quickly. For an animal of his size, he moved with astonishing speeds that could exceed 40 kilometres an hour. Come and admire his beautifully preserved skeleton at the Dinosauria Museum Prague.
