Over the course of 45 minutes, our paleontologist Štěpán Pícha will give you a free tour of the museum and will not only provide you with all the information you need but will also let you into the fascinating stories of our real skeletons. The whole class will then have enough time to see and try out everything on their own.

A GUIDED TOUR ABOUT MINERALS

During the 40-minute lecture, we will take a peek into the colorful world of minerals. You will learn according to which laws mineral crystals are formed, where minerals are formed and what groups they are divided into. The lecture will also include basic physical and chemical tests that are used in the determination of minerals. Students will be able to try some of them themselves. After the lecture, we will go to the museum where you will be able to admire the collection of 6000 minerals and you can also visit the section dedicated to dinosaurs.

THE EVOLUTION OF LIFE

LECTURE ON EVOLUTION FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The evolution of life on our planet is a fascinating billion-year journey. In this lecture, we will start from the very first signs of life and work our way through the first complex organisms, the protochorus, the Mesozoic, the Tertiary, and the Quaternary till today. The lecture lasts 3.5 hours and includes a tour of the museum. The admission fee is 299 CZK per student.
